Best Travel Credit Cards

If you’re looking for a travel credit card, I would consider the following:

  • Annual fees (if applicable)

  • Benefits based on your travel lifestyle

  • Points benefits

  • Cash back benefits

  • Foreign transaction fees

  • Perks, access, and rewards

When I was doing research on the best travel card, I decided to go with Chase Sapphire Preferred since I travel a few times a year. I also looked at Capital One, Bank of America, American Express, and Citi travel credit cards. If you are a frequent traveler, I would go with the Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card that has a $550 annual fee with benefits like a $300 travel credit, 3x - 5x points on travel and dining purchases, VIP airport lounge access, $100 credit towards Global Entry, TSA Pre-Check, or NEXUS fee credit, and more!

MAKING YOUR FIRST PURCHASE

When you sign up, you have to wait for the physical credit card to come in so I would recommend to call them to request to expedite the shipping for your credit card so you can start making purchases. You won’t be able to get the credit card information like credit card number or security code until you receive the credit card in the mail.

EARN up to 60,000 BONUS POINTS WHEN YOU SIGN UP FOR CHASE SAPPHIRE CARDS

If you’re in the market for a travel card card and align with the benefits of the card, you can receive up to 60,000 bonus points when you sign up in the link here.

Accumulating points for your next travel trip is exciting when you know you can use these points for a free vacation or trip! I’ve been eyeing the Alila Ventana Big Sur Resort as my bucket list vacation in the near future. Let me know what your favorite travel credit card is!
